Narcos: Mexico goes back in time to explore the origin of the drug war in new trailer

Cape Town – Netflix has released the first trailer for the upcoming series Narcos: Mexico.

The series will explore the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, beginning at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganised confederation of independent growers and dealers.

It stars Diego Luna as drug lord Félix Gallardo and Michael Peña who plays DEA agent Kiki Camarena.

The series will be available on the streaming service on Friday, 16 November.
