The Bridgerton family have a 'new' member.
Netflix has recast the character Francesca, after Roby Stokes exited the series due to her starring role in the thriller series Lockwood & Co.
Hannah Dodd (Anatomy of a Scandal) will replace Stokes as the sixth Bridgerton sibling.
The character appeared fleeting in Season 1 of the Regency-era drama and in three episodes of the second season, released in March.
"I love Francesca, but we lost her midway through Season 2. After exhausting all other options, she, unfortunately, had to come out due to reasons beyond our control," creator and showrunner Chris Van Dusen told TVLine in an interview.
Netflix said in a statement: "Francesca Bridgerton is a bit of a mystery within her chatty, extroverted family," per People.
"Despite her reserved nature, she goes along to get along when it comes to society affairs, fortified with a dry wit and pragmatism that confound the fickle ton yet seem to draw attention when she least desires it."
Deadline reports that the show is casting for season 3, with production set to begin in London in the summer.
The drama beat its own record in April, with season 2 taking the title of most-watched English language show on Netflix.
