Devi and her complicated teenage life return in the third season of Never Have I Ever.

Netflix announced on Sunday that season three of the Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher coming-of-age dramedy would release on 12 August. The fourth and final season will premiere in 2023.

The series centres on Indian American teenager Devi (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), who deals with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, while also navigating new romantic relationships.

The streaming service also shared new photos of the cast in the upcoming season on the official Instagram account. Pictured are Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, Jaren Lewison, Richa Moorjani, Poorna Jagannathan, Lee Rodriguez, Ramona Young and new cast member Anirudh Pisharody.

According to TVLine, Pisharody will play Des, short for Nirdesh, an Indian American teen boy who is just as smart as Devi but attends classes at an elite private school.

Ramakrishnan also shared a series of photos on Instagram with the caption: "Oh Devi, what on earth will you do… see you all on August 12th for Season 3."
