Cape Town – SABC3 and Expresso have launched another Presenter Search on 3 reality show looking to find two new presenters for the channel's morning show.

The latest Presenter Search on 3 comes a year after the one held in 2018 but this time, instead of presenters for various shows, will be looking for two presenters for Expresso to replace Ewan Strydom who left at the end of April and Zoë Brown who left at the end of June.

South Africans can only enter on social media through Instagram this time by submitting a 1-minute video "showcasing" themselves, after which successful contestants will be contacted for an in-person audition in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.

Expresso is looking for "unique personalities and creative individuals who will bring something fresh and new" to the show.

In the 1-minute Instagram video, wannabe presenters must record themselves introduce themselves, give their names and explain where they live, tell what makes them unique and use the hashtag "PresenterSearchOn3". The closing date for entries is 31 July 2019.

The judges – who will still be announced and who will be made up of media personalities and celebrities with extensive experience in live television and the media industry as a whole – will then choose ten finalists who will take part in a 13-episode reality series.

Presenter Search on 3 2019 will start on 7 August and end in a live grand finale on 30 October where the two winners will be announced.
