Leandra Engelbrecht talks Jane Austen, sisterhood, and love with Sanditon star Rose Williams ahead of the premiere of the second season of the historical drama on BritBox.

Rose Williams returns to the seaside resort of Sanditon as Charlotte Heywood in the second season of the historical drama based on an unfinished manuscript by Jane Austen.

The 28-year-old had said goodbye to the character in her head and heart after the first season, which aired in 2019. One can call it a Christmas miracle, as, on the Eve of Christmas 2020, she got the call that the show had been recommissioned for seasons two and three.
