What do the lockdown's favourite internet comedian and one of the largest financial service providers in South Africa have in common? The Sanlam Moola Money Family Game Show, of course.

Tyson Ngubeni, who served fun and laughs with his Chicken Licken advert and alter ego, sports commentator Bob O'Connor, during the long dark months of the Covid-19 lockdown, will make his TV debut as host of the country's first-ever financial education game show.

Set against the dire backdrop of SA's economic state, with the pandemic having led to two million job losses in 2020 alone, Sanlam's 13-episode family game show - which launches on e.tv on 3 April at 18:00 - aims to improve financial literacy in a fun, engaging and accessible way, to help make money management relatable and appealing to a wide audience.
