"It might not work out for us this time."

Netflix has released the trailer for Stranger Things season 4 volume 2.

According to the streaming service, it will be a 'super-sized, epic conclusion' to the season. Episodes 408 and 409 will be available from Friday, 1 July.

"It's been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier," reads the official synopsis.

"In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down."

Volume 1, released on 27 May, set a new record in its first weekend, drawing 286.79 million hours viewed worldwide. It became Netflix's most-watched show ever for the debut of an English-language TV show.
