It's a bit surreal being in South Africa and doing a virtual set visit in Serbia, where the cast and crew filmed the third season of the Syfy fantasy show The Outpost.
Created by South African film producer Kynan Griffin and Jason Faller, the series follows Talon (Jessica Green), a survivor from a race called the Blackbloods, who travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of the world to track those who killed her family. On the journey, she discovers she has a superpower which she must learn to control to save herself and defend the world.
Season 3 – which airs on Universal TV (DStv 117) Fridays at 20:50 – expands the mythology of the Blackbloods and the kinjies (mystical creatures who give different powers) and answers some of the questions about Talon's place in the world.
