"Do you want to know the truth?"
Netflix has released the official trailer for the second season of Blood & Water.
The series follows Puleng Khumalo (Ama Qamata), 16-year-old who engineers her transfer to the prestigious Parkhurst College in a desperate bid to investigate the 17-year cold case of her older sister's disappearance. She meets it girl Fikile (Khosi Ngema), who she befriends, and soon discovers that there is more to her.
Season 1 ended with Puleng revealing to Fikile that she's her sister. Puleng's father, Julius (Getmore Sithole), may have played a role in the abduction of his daughter and is facing trial for human trafficking.
In the upcoming season, things are off to a rocky start between Puleng and Fikile following the DNA results, and the drama will test old alliances and forge new and unlikely friendships. A new school therapist joins the staff, and a new hunk, Sam (Leroy Siyafa), joins the Parkhurst gang, with both bringing a few secrets of their own.
