Justice for Eddie Munson!

The character, played by Joseph Quinn, was introduced to Stranger Things viewers in the first volume of season 4. Nine episodes later, and having captured the hearts of viewers, his heroic death gained a reaction very similar to that of Barb's in season 1.

Aside from fan-favourite Steve Harrington (played by Joe Keery), Quinn's character quickly stole the spotlight. Be it his gentle and kind personality hiding under his rough exterior, the most metal concert ever, or the most heartbreaking death ever filmed – Eddie Munson was the star of Stranger Things S4, and he will be missed by all.

In addition to being the best character in the season, Quinn proved he is just as amazing as his character at a recent Comic Con event in London.

As expected, Joseph meet-and-greets were in high demand and, according to Buzzfeed, were oversold by 400 tickets.

And while Joseph was keen to ensure everybody got their money's worth, staff working at the event were not. Several Twitter users tagged the convention's organisers, Showmasters, calling out how the staff treated Joseph.

"If you guys continue to treat your guests the way you treated Joseph Quinn, you are going to lose out on a lot of your regulars with that outrageous behaviour from your staff. It's disgusting how he was treated," one user wrote.

The following day, during a Q&A with Joseph, artist Kimberley Burrows took it upon herself to speak on behalf of everybody, publicly thanking Joseph for his time. The moment was filmed and shared online.

In the video, which has since gone viral, Kimberly states: "I'm sure a lot of us have heard what happened yesterday – whether it's true or not – about how you were treated. I won't comment on it. But I just wanted to say thank you from all of us. We're really grateful that you're sharing your time."

Thank you for signing our things. For spending time with us and making our summer. I think that we've all really connected with Eddie, for one reason or another — whether we liked his music taste, or that he's an outsider like you mentioned. I think all of us are part Eddie.

A visibly emotional Joseph wiped both of his eyes and then playfully asked Kimberley: "Aww, why'd you do that?"

He then said: "Thank you for your kind words, thank you."
