"The new me is not the old me," Katlego Maboe says in the latest promo for his upcoming sit-down interview.

The South African TV presenter will return to The Expresso Morning Show two years after taking time off to "focus on personal matters that stemmed from allegations of abuse against him" by his former partner Monique Muller.

"There's certainly elements of the old me that remain," Maboe adds before telling host Graeme Richards that the one thing he could never let go of "throughout whatever it is that has happened in the last couple of years" is the "desire to be a force of positivity in people's lives".

"We do not quit when things get tough; we rest, get back up and start over. Here's to new beginnings!" reads the caption of the clip shared on Instagram.
