Africa’s agrifood and food security sector has been largely underfunded, with governments having historically implemented unsupportive fiscal, trade, market and monetary policies against the continent’s agricultural sector.

These are the key findings of this year’s Annual Trends and Outlook Report launched this month at the Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System annual conference.
