During a presentation this week, Damian McHugh, head of marketing and distribution for health fund administrator Momentum Health Solutions, said its data indicated that people who had kept themselves busy with DIY jobs during the strict lockdown period kept hospitals busy.

Hospital surveys for all medical funds administered by Momentum Health Solutions showed that hospitals were almost half as full in 2020 and last year as they were in 2019 before the pandemic.
