State pleads for support of SAA business rescue plan

Ahead of the SAA creditors’ meeting on Thursday, government has encouraged creditors, employees and other stakeholders of the national carrier to vote in support of the business rescue plan.

The department of public enterprises said on Wednesday that the business rescue plan “would result in a better return for these parties than a liquidation of the carrier”.
