MONDLI MAKHANYA

Formed about 15 years ago to strive for what its name says, the group was a voice in the wilderness, agitating for a racially inspired rejection of a unitary South Africa. Although primarily white-led, it pretended that the struggle for Cape independence was really about restoring the region to its original Khoi and San inhabitants.
