We are in mourning again as a nation. Another footballer’s life has been lost in yet another road accident.

Just over a year ago, I penned the piece Let’s get real about players’ road deaths, in which I lamented that our local footballers were perishing on our roads. I was particularly concerned about the time of day when they meet their untimely deaths.
