For the first time in many years, I watched a live local boxing event last weekend.
I’m not an boxing fanatic, but I grew up watching South African boxers in action and a slugfest would hardly pass me by. My trade as a journalist also meant I’d sometimes go to tournaments, and I enjoyed every bit of the confrontations in the ring.
