In terms of whistleblowing, the following is an attempt to trumpet in both your ears, Uncle Gwede.
I started a business in our capital in 1980 and experienced the entire blood, sweat and tears epic journey of every entrepreneur. Being in Pretoria, virtually all business was destined to be done with the government or its parastatals.
Although your ANC, Minister Mantashe, vainly wants to hide the truth, I never experienced any form of corruption of any kind throughout the tough initial 15 years of establishing a business in the run-up to 1994.
Around 1995, our business initiated an electronic monitoring system for South African parolees by acquiring the rights to a world-leading system from the US.

The department of correctional services eventually agreed that effectiveness could be improved and about R600 million per year could be saved.
A tender was advertised, our small business had to borrow a hefty amount to modify the product for South African conditions, we won the pilot tender and proved the functionality of the concept.
Another tender process followed. It attracted 26 tenderers from around the world and it became clear during the extensive evaluation process that we were the preferred bidder. Bosasa had no product and did not tender.
Yet, out of the blue, Bosasa got the tender. Needless to say, the South African government spent unknown millions without any known result.

So, dear Uncle Gwede, the above is just one little story confirming why so many of us can clearly see how your ANC is callously wrecking the country.
Your latest gambit of threatening now oppose Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo is just too much for me.
