Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane is facing a court challenge from the National Arts Council (NAC) following her report implicating its CEO, Rosemary Mangope, in maladministration.

The NAC wants the Pretoria High Court to review and set aside Mkhwebane’s report, which was released on June 15.
