The Johannesburg High Court has granted an interdict in favour of Shadrack Sibiya, the former head City of Joburg crime-busting department, against Al Jama-ah political party and one of its members.

The matter relates to allegations made by Al Jama-ahy’s member, Thapelo Amad, the former MMC for development planning in Joburg, against Sibiya and his former employer – the City’s group head of forensic and investigating services (GFIS).
