Hopes are not high that justice will ensue from disciplinary process after complaints about tweets sent by party’s federal chairperson, Zille

The DA’s Helen Zille headache is unlikely to end any time soon, following her latest tweets being referred to the party’s disciplinary unit – which is viewed by many in the party as toothless.

Zille’s comparison of the apartheid regime with the current government has led to MP Hlanganani Gumbi and Gauteng MPL Khume Ramulifho laying a formal complaint against her with the party’s Federal Legal Commission. However, this still does not seem to give hope to some senior officials that justice will prevail.
