The University of SA (Unisa) principal and vice-chancellor, Professor Puleng LenkaBula, has indicated that management would support the independent assessment of the embattled university.

This is after City Press reported on August 13 that Higher Education, Science and Innovation Minister Blade Nzimande told the Unisa council that he had decided to appoint an assessor for the university.
