An Eastern Cape-based pastor has been accused of scamming a follower of close to R500 000 in a car deal that went sour.

City Press understands that a follower of pastor Jay Israel of Spirit Life Church in East London approached private investigator Tabisa Ralawe on Thursday to conduct an investigation into an alleged scam involving the Jay Israel Group.
