A Special Investigating Unit (SIU) probe followed by the placement of a Limpopo municipality under administration did nothing to deter officials from malfeasance valued at R160.3 million.

According to a report by the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC), unscrupulous officials at Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality in Limpopo had access to the keys to the strongroom where bid documents were kept, and they tampered with them for their selfish ends.
