0800 02 9999…That is now what is supposed to be our first point of call regarding Covid-19 coronavirus related issues. You have symptoms? Call this number. Not sure what to do? Call this number … That is what has been said.

Never had I imagined I would one day be the one in need of this number, but because of the state I was in, I needed immediate assistance.

The sense of urgency within me quickly obliged when I developed symptoms. A visit to my nearest hospital to obtain the requisite referral letter was my first port of call.
