Wits proposes mandatory vaccination for staff and students, but SRC rejects it

On Thursday, the university sent out a communiqué to the university community, asking for comments on the proposed Wits Mandatory Vaccination Framework by Monday.

In the communiqué, which City Press has seen, the university says that all staff, students, visitors and those wanting to study or work at the institution, as well as its service providers, would be required to be vaccinated in order to access the campus.
