A traditional leader in Mpumalanga has accused the ANC of being biased towards her half-brother and chieftaincy rival, following a visit by ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule to her area last weekend.

Chief Khulile Mkhatshwa, the leader of the besieged Mawewe Tribal Authority, harshly criticised the Mpumalanga ANC leadership for not informing her of Magashule’s visit to Mgobodzi village, and for using a loudhailer to recognise her half-brother, Candice Mkhatshwa, as the legitimate chief.
