Local football fans are waiting anxiously to see if PSL games will make a return in the coming weeks. The league wanted games to restart on July 18, but that wish was derailed by the unavailability of match officials last week. The league also wanted to complete the 2019/20 season at the end of August.

The PSL has 113 matches to complete across the Absa Premiership, GladAfrica Championship, Nedbank Cup and the promotional play-offs.
