Bongani Zungu’s French club Amiens SC have been handed some sort of a lifeline following their relegation from Ligue 1 two months ago, but their hopes remain a wait and see game for now.

This after France’s highest administrative court confirmed that the Ligue 1 season will end early as planned, but suspended the relegation of Amiens and Toulouse.

The league was cancelled in April on a points-per-game basis, with Paris St-Germain named champions and Ligue 2 sides Lorient and Lens promoted.
