Former Free State Stars and Black Leopards coach Luc Eymael has been declared persona non grata in South Africa.

The maverick Belgian was this week fired by top Tanzanian club Young Africans SC for his racist remarks following his side’s draw in a league match last week.

In a two-minute recording [listen to the audio below], Eymael, who won the Nedbank Cup with Stars two seasons ago, can be heard calling Tanzanian people “uneducated”, while he also referred to the club’s fans as “monkeys and barking dogs”.
