On Thursday evening, La Liga kicked off with El Gran Derbi when Sevilla took on Real Betis in the first game of the post-Covid-19 era for the Spanish league.

No fans, virtual sounds (like in the Fifa video game), masks and social distancing were the order of the day at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville, where the hosts walked away 2-0 victors.
