There is a likelihood that Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki will name a team comprising locally based players when he announces the squad for the upcoming two friendly matches during the next Fifa international date next month.

South Africa are set face Zambia and Namibia during the October 5 to 13 Fifa week in preparation for Bafana’s back-to-back Afcon qualifiers against São Tomé and Príncipe in November.

International football will resume after a six-month hiatus enforced by the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
