Having set itself six months to get to the bottom of misconduct allegations against Moroe, CSA appears resigned to the process dragging on indefinitely, what with its decision to extend acting CEO Jacques Faul’s tenure for as long as he is needed.

While disciplinary hearings are known to take a long time to resolve – former CSA chief executive Gerald Majola’s unauthorised bonus payment hearing took a year – the unsettling thing is an insider’s claim that Moroe’s hearing hasn’t even begun.
