The 30-year-old goalkeeper joined Sundowns for an undisclosed fee on Wednesday from city rivals SuperSport United, the only club he has played for – he joined the club as a 12-year-old in 2004.

Williams, a Bafana first-choice keeper, will have to dislodge 37-year-old veterans Denis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene, who seem to be maturing with age.
