The Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria (Javett-UP) opened in September 2019 and, like most institutions that are public-facing, closed at the beginning of the national lockdown. Now that South Africa is on lockdown level 1, Javett-UP, as it is simply called, has reopened to the public with four exhibitions.
