Legendary film director, producer and screenwriter Spike Lee has had a rough time lately. Yes, he did finally get an Academy Award for his BlacKkKlansman (2018), a long overdue nod for his talents, but they gave him the honours for the wrong film. That movie is not better than Inside Man (2006) or Clockers (1995).
