Amid the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, this year’s National Arts Festival is going completely virtual. Instead of sauntering through the streets of Makhanda in the Eastern Cape, you’ll be enjoying the be best local and international art productions from the comfort of your home. For the first time, those who have been unable to make the trek to Makhanda will be able to experience it. We asked the festival’s artistic director Rucera Seethal what we should tune into this year.
