The Mzansi Youth Choir prove how formidable their sound is by winning an international award for a choral arrangement with accompaniment at the Interkultur Video Awards 2020

The Soweto-based Mzansi Youth Choir has managed to get another feather to add to its cap, with the announcement of the choir’s victory at the Interkultur Video Awards 2020.

This global organisation has around 120 000 choirs from 80 countries, who are members of this entity that sets up competitions and talent exchanges around the world, linking over 4.8 million artists to each other. This organisation, based in Germany, has been facilitating and showcasing choristers since 1988.

The Mzansi Youth Choir won an award at this year’s World Choir Games which also marked the 10th iteration of this contest.
