Not long ago, I wrote an article about what happens when sporting rules reject culture and traditions.

This was after PSL referee Jelly Chavani applied the laws of the game and ordered Golden Arrows players Siyabonga Dube and Sibusiso Sibeko to remove their isiphandla (cultural bracelets made from animal skin).
