Consumers are facing an uphill battle with rising inflation and the price of electricity set to increase next month for Eskom customers. That will add to the upside risks to inflation.

The National Energy Regulator of SA (Nersa) has now announced the increases for municipalities which will come into effect in July for consumers who get their power from the local government.
