Consumers generally shop at Makro for deals that help stretch their rands in these tough economic times, but at the stores City Press visited previously and again this week, customers were clearly frustrated because some items that were meant to be on special were unavailable. Indeed, in every aisle, there were a few empty shelves with a red sticker reading “Temporarily out of stock”. Even frozen products were sold out.
