It becomes clear, writes Thuli Madonsela, that the pigs who led the liberation struggle believe their reward is to indulge in similar excesses to those of the deposed humans, with impunity.

Wednesday the 7th of the 7th of 2021 will be forever etched in history as the day the rule of law in democratic South Africa stood firm and prevailed against a tsunami-like assault on it. This moment will also be remembered as a giant step for the rule of law and transformative constitutionalism in South Africa.
