There is a silent killer among us. It has no colour, gender or age. This silent killer has been there since time immemorial. It often kills those it invades, or makes them kill others.
Consider Vincent van Gogh, the peerless Dutch artist who reputedly cut off his own ear in a fit of rage. He later killed himself, but not before he harmed another during an angry episode. Even the legendary composer Beethoven, whose magnificent music we cherish, was not spared a ruthless invasion of his mind. The lives of renowned authors such as Virginia Woolf and Sylvia Plath were likewise stolen by this silent killer.
