Experts say that former president Jacob Zuma’s release on medical parole stands to be overturned only if it was not based on rational justification. After spending less that three months in prison, Zuma is now a free man, having been granted medical parole by correctional services national commissioner Arthur Fraser.

On Wednesday, while speaking to SABC news, Fraser admitted he had come to that decision despite the medical advisory board counsel that deemed him to be in a stable condition.
