TotalEnergies EP SA (TEEPSA) intends to drill offshore in an area located between Cape Town and Cape Agulhas, going to depths of between 700m and 3 200m. The targeted area, which is situated near the seaside town of Hermanus, is a world-famous whale-watching and tourist destination.
