The 12 vehicle-mounted grabbers, a backpack grabber and an aerial grabber have been collecting dust in storage at the Crime Intelligence Division’s technology support unit in Silverton in Pretoria. In June last year, National Treasury sought to declare the expenditure as fruitless and wasteful.
