The SA Reserve Bank has received a letter requesting the VBS Mutual Bank licence to be reactivated

The SA Reserve Bank has received a letter requesting the VBS Mutual Bank licence to be reactivated.

The letter, sent by the Matsila Community Development Trust on behalf of the VBS Shareholders’ Forum, has officially requested the Reserve Bank to help governor Lesetja Kganyago facilitate a meeting with a view to initiating a process for the “ultimate restoration of the VBS Bank to its former glory”.
