‘Eskom can’t afford more debt’

That is according to Eskom finance head Calib Cassim. The entity’s total debt amounts to about R400 billion.

Eskom has been talking to the department of public enterprises and the Treasury about this for two years, but so far there has been no progress, said Cassim.
