Former Gauteng health MEC Bandile Masuku is embroiled in a peculiar contract dispute with creditors of a vehicle he is alleged to have bought nearly a decade ago but has failed to settle its outstanding debt believed to be around R100 000.

A corporate entity, identified as TMF Corporate Services SA, sought to impose a cession agreement through a court application at the Johannesburg High Court last month to obtained a default judgment against Masuku.
