Louis Coetzer, former principal of Westcol Technical Vocational Education and Training College in Gauteng’s West Rand area, may have dodged a bullet when he took early retirement, but Higher Education, Science and Technology Minister Blade Nzimande says the Hawks could be breathing down Coetzer’s neck once a forensic investigation by PwC has been concluded.

Nzimande had initially told City Press that he considered the case closed when Coetzer went on pension in April, shortly after a disciplinary process against him had failed to materialise due to his ill health and the national lockdown restrictions.
